From the first conversation to the final farewell, our team is with you every step of the way. From our on the day managers and front of house, to those members behind the scenes – in the kitchen, garden or office, that you don’t see, but we couldn’t do any of this without – each plays a vital role in creating your day. We promise a seamless experience and a truly unforgettable occasion.
On the Day
On the day itself, one of our operations / assistant managers will take the lead bringing together all aspects of your wedding day. Valme, Ralph, Becky & Pip know their stuff, and will act as your Master of Ceremonies, too – saving you from having to make any formal announcements. As well as looking after your guests, the on the day team will also liaise with Head Chef John, and his brigade, to ensure a seamless food service.
VALME GOMEZ
General Manager
Valme takes care of the day-to-day running of the castle – a considerable task. With a wealth of experience managing prestigious venues and overseeing events for royalty and high-profile guests, she brings an exceptional level of professionalism, discretion and expertise to the role.

John gained a wealth of experience as the castle’s Sous Chef, before becoming Head Chef last year. His in-house team have made amazing advancements in our food offering with him at the helm.
Nathan hunt
Guest experience coordinator
Nathan is the Castle’s very own Mr Carson, bringing a touch of Downton Abbey charm to every occasion. A familiar and friendly face on the floor, he takes pride in ensuring guests feel welcome, looked after and, most importantly, leave with a smile. His warmth, attention to detail and natural charm make him an unforgettable part of the Rowton Castle experience.

WEDDING & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Virginia brings years of wedding experience, boundless energy and an exceptional eye for detail to every celebration. Her precision and passion ensure everything runs seamlessly, and Rowton Castle is incredibly lucky to have her.

DUTY Manager
Adam is the coolest dude at Rowton Castle, always keeping an eye on everything and making sure guests are well looked after. Whether in the restaurant, at reception or during a wedding, his relaxed charm and attention to detail make every visit a great experience.

Whilst you may meet Lorraine or Karen when visiting the castle for the very first time, it is Wedding Coordinators Gemma, Corryn & Chloe who will support you during your time of planning and will work with you to create a full itinerary. They are utterly fabulous as what they do and you can be assured that you and your day is in the safest of hands.

Geraldine may have been on the inventory back in 1997! Anyone that has worked with her, is glad of that fact. Geraldine’s knowledge of Rowton is incredible and we couldn’t be without her.

Once upon a time, Corryn came to Rowton for her work experience. An Events Management degree later, Corryn is back and is the real deal!
